Terms of Service — Cicada.Team
Operated by Cicada.Team (“Cicada.Team”, “we”, “us”, “our”)
Last updated: 22 October 2026 · Effective: 14 September 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of Cicada.Team — a platform that lets a
business handle its customer conversations from connected messaging channels (Telegram bots and
personal accounts, email and the website chat widget) in one inbox, with automations, AI-assisted
replies, tasks and a sales pipeline. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not
agree, do not use the service.
1. The account and who may use it
- An account is created by a business (the “Customer”) and used by the people the Customer
invites. The Customer is responsible for what those people do in the account.
- You must be able to enter into a binding contract and must use the service in line with the law
that applies to you and to your customers.
- Keep credentials safe. Tell us at [email protected] if you
believe an account has been accessed without permission.
2. Connected channels
- Channels are connected by the Customer with its own accounts, tokens or devices. The Customer
is responsible for holding the rights to use those accounts and for complying with the rules of the
messaging platform it connects.
- A messaging platform may change, restrict or suspend access to its own service at any time. We
do not control that and cannot guarantee the availability of a third-party channel.
- The Customer must not use connected channels for unsolicited bulk messaging or for anything the
platform or the law forbids.
- Broadcasts may be sent only to the Customer's own customer base: people who have contacted the
Customer or agreed to receive its messages. Spam is prohibited.
3. What the Customer may not do
- Use the service to send unlawful, deceptive, abusive or infringing content.
- Attempt to breach or probe the service, its isolation between accounts, or its rate limits.
- Resell, sublicense or expose the service to third parties as if it were their own, unless we have
agreed to it in writing.
- Use automated means to extract data beyond the documented API, or to circumvent plan limits.
4. AI features
- AI features draft, classify, transcribe and generate content. Output can be wrong, incomplete or
unsuitable for a given case; the Customer decides how to use it and remains responsible for what is
sent to its customers.
- AI features can be disabled per project or per conversation.
- AI usage is counted in credits. A plan includes a monthly package of credits, extra credits can
be bought, and the balance is shown in the product.
5. Plans, payment and refunds
- Plans, limits and prices are published in the product and may change; a change takes effect from
the next billing period, and we tell the Customer in advance.
- Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at
the end of the paid period.
- Channels are included in a plan up to its limits. Usage beyond the package included in a plan,
such as extra AI credits, is charged at the prices shown in the product before it is spent.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. Where the law gives a
consumer a right of withdrawal, that right applies regardless of it.
6. The Customer's data
- Conversations, contacts and everything the Customer creates in the service belong to the
Customer. We process them to provide the service, as described in our
Privacy Policy.
- The Customer can export its data from the product while the account is active.
- After an account is closed, data is deleted or anonymised within the periods stated in the
Privacy Policy, except where the law requires us to keep it.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and to fix faults promptly, but we do not promise uninterrupted
or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable. Support is
provided at [email protected].
8. Suspension and termination
- The Customer may stop using the service and close the account at any time.
- We may suspend an account that breaches these Terms, endangers other customers or the service,
or is used unlawfully. Where the circumstances allow it, we warn first and give time to fix the
problem.
- We may terminate an account for a material breach that is not fixed after notice.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or
lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in the
three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be
limited by law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the product or by email before they
take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means the updated Terms apply.
